Ana Cheibub brings 14 years of experience in corporate sustainability and low-carbon strategy, with deep expertise in carbon accounting, sustainability reporting, decarbonization roadmaps, and product-level carbon intensity standards that link emissions data to real market decisions.
At Vale, she has led analyses on internal carbon pricing, emissions forecasting for corporate target management, and transition risks aligned with strategic planning, drawing on expertise in GHG inventories, decarbonization frameworks, life cycle assessment, and climate risk management. Her work connects rigorous carbon footprints to product competitiveness and differentiation, ensuring that carbon analyses are grounded in credible, verifiable data.
Prior to joining Vale, Ana built her expertise as a sustainability and climate consultant, advising multinational companies across Brazil and around the world. Her work spanned corporate sustainability strategy, energy and climate change planning, and product-level carbon accounting, giving her a cross-sector perspective on the exact gaps in consistency and credibility that Carbon Measures works to address.
Based in Rio de Janeiro, Ana holds a degree in Chemical Engineering and an Executive Postgraduate in Environment from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, as well as a specialization in Corporate Sustainability from NYU Stern School of Business. She is driven by the belief that rigorous, product-level carbon measurement – grounded in life cycle thinking and verifiable data – is essential to reducing emissions in a real, credible, and competitively meaningful way.
She joined the Carbon Measures team in April 2026 on secondment from Vale.
